Each season, LH publishes an online journal of literature and art, featuring new fiction, essays, poetry, visual art, and film from our talented contributors.
Issue 12 released this summer and is available for online viewing here.
"Foxes" by Jason Oh was filmed in Provincetown, MA, during production of LH's short documentary, Cold Storage, directed by Eddie Shore.
Lime Hawk represents the metamorphosis of thought, perception, and culture that is vital for our species to endure in an ever-changing world. While the butterfly classically stands as a symbol for transformation, we associate with its less coveted, nocturnal cousin: the moth. The Lime Hawk moth is radiant and intricate, its wings painted in forest greens and earthy browns that blend seamlessly into its environment. It holds its wings in the shape of a Delta, the mathematical symbol of change. Lime Hawk is a testament to our planet’s magnificent nature and creative perseverance.
